Overview
MIS' range of impression coping components offers a choice between open or closed tray impression coping protocols. MIS' impression coping range enable a simple and accurate restoration planning either for a single tooth, bridge or a full denture, using screw retained or press fit components.
Custom-made open tray
When choosing a custom-made open tray procedure, a preliminary impression of the relevant arch should be taken. The custom- made impression tray is being prepared by punching a hole in the approximate area of the implant so the guide pin can protrude through the impression tray.

Closed tray
After placing MIS' closed tray impression coping abutment on the implants and covering them with the plastic caps, an impression can be taken with a closed tray.
